I actually spent the whole day thinking that I would be writing about someone completely different, only to realize at the last minute that they don’t qualify for New Band Day under the rules that I set us a while back. Nevermind though, because Give Half To The Monkey is way more interesting. Three Scottish guys who play weird piano-driven tunes that are totally funky and danceable, what’s not to love? These guys caught my attention within seconds and I stopped everything to listen closely, a reaction I’ve been missing for a while. I’m pretty damn excited about this actually – I feel like I should gush some more, but I’ll just advise you to go listen for yourself at their myspace page.
Plus, I reckon Give Half To The Monkey is good advice in pretty much any situation, don’t you?
