True, and I could have been clearer about my thoughts on the Happy Mondays. I do actually understand, and appreciate, what makes them important to music history - and I should admit that I probably haven't listened to them enough to give them a fair chance - but still, I've never felt the urge to put them on my iPod. But then again, maybe one day I'll find that I was wrong this whole time!

Well...I enjoy the stone roses and the Happy Mondays. However, in terms of "cutting edge" and breaking the barriers that music has always seemed to put up, the Happy Mondays (drug addictions and all) clearly pushed the boundaries and broke the mold of what was being made at that time...so, maybe that will help explain what people love about them...

Cheers
