100b … What?
Here at 100b the full sonic spectrum is celebrated. From popular chart toppers to struggling indie bands, acoustic ballads to thumpin’ party-starters. Bands, artists, groups, collectives. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s. It makes no nevermind. If we think it’s good, we listen to it. If we listen to it, we write about it.
Our current theme days are: Backtrack (we delve into albums lost in the deluge of our musical addiction); Classics (we highlight songs already or fated to be classic); New Band Day (we share new bands you should know about); Poptastic Day (we celebrate the best of cheesy pop past and present); Soundtrack Day (we share songs from the soundtracks of our day, week, year, life); Those Zany Charts … (we highlight, pick apart, ponder the wide world of chart music).
Our less frequent themed features include: The Album Of The Month and Single Of The Month (we select the cream of the previous month’s release crop); 100b’s School Of Learnin’ (we kick some musical knowledge in one area or another); Fantasy Covers (covers we wish were made).
Our mp3 and Music categories are self-explanatory and form the backbone of our post categorization. Some Other Stuff captures those bits-n-pieces we can’t stuff anywhere else.
But-but-but wait, it gets better! In addition to our theme days, we also post outside the schedule in a variety of different categories: 100beats (from boom-baps to dance tracks); 100beef (beef’s all around and we’re serving up a royale-with-cheese); 100bells (when Christmas time is here); 100best (the best of whatever the topic is); 100bummer (man, were we let down by …); Must Hear (we clue you in on what you absolutely must listen to).
100b … When?
We post nearly every day, but, to ensure loyal readers are guaranteed regular content, 100b maintains a Schedule for our theme days.
